Stand Up Shows
Annie Russell is an emerging comic based in Burlington, Vermont. When she’s not working as a public radio producer, she performs her whip-smart material in cities all over the U.S. and in Montreal.
Annie has opened for Marc Maron on the Flynn’s MainStage and for Al Madrigal at the University of Vermont. She performs regularly at Vermont Comedy Club and has shared the stage with Jen Kirkman, Sam Morril, Jon Dore, Beth Stelling, Greg Fitzsimmons and other national acts.
Annie has performed in the Boston Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy Festival, Green Mountain Comedy Festival and the Waking Windows Festival. She’s served as a keynote speaker for the Vermont Women Business Owners Network, and regularly brings her dry wit and pop culture observations to corporate shows and private events.
She produces and hosts Cringe!, a “wildly unique and wince-inducing” monthly show, and No Chill with Annie Russell, a podcast that explores the relationship between the arts and mental health. She co-hosts United We Standup, a monthly political comedy show at Vermont Comedy Club.
